Trailers "Laupisanas 101 (2017)"

Anyone from the entire cast and crew paid 50 cents every time they cursed. The movie's director Kaspars Marhlevics ended up paying 22 euros by the end of filming.

The movie's budget is exactly 0 euros.

The movie has an after-credit scene. It's the first ever after-credit scene to set up a sequel in a Latvian movie.

In the scene where Eric and Albert are playing rock, paper, scissors the actors kept forgetting the correct sequence and ended up laughing in one of the shots. As the laughing was also part of the script, the director Kaspars Marhlevics liked it and the shot was kept in the final movie.

Bryce only allowing bare-foot people in his house was never part of the script. It was made up on set by the actor Edgars Sondors and all the lines about it were completely improvised.

The entire confrontation between Bryce and Harry at the end of the movie was improvised.

In the scene where Ralph demonstrates the pull for the first time - one of the cars has a license plate that reads "LA-101". An Easter egg for the movie's name Laupisanas 101.

Though never explicitly mentioned or shown - Bryce's car can be seen twice in the movie. Once where Albert is stalking him on the streets of Riga and another time during the heist. In real life, that car actually belongs to the actor Martins Emils Volskis who plays Albert in the movie.

Almost the entire cast had never acted anywhere before. The only two true exceptions are Edgars Sondors and Mariss Kaminskis who play Bryce and Richard respectively.

Laupisanas 101 was originally slated as a 15-minute short movie but after multiple rewrites, the script was near 60 pages.

The idea for the movie was born in 2014.

The original soundtrack of the movie was made by Elias Laitinen and Wäinö Vaitomaa. It's their first music made specifically for a movie. It was inspired heavily by Mission: Impossible and Ocean's Trilogy.

This is a debut film for Kaspars Marhlevics as a director.
