"Joyce to the World " explores the global phenomenon of Bloomsday, celebrated every year on June 16th, the day the novel takes place. 2004 marks the centenary of Bloomsday, when Joyceans around the world open a book, raise a pint, dress in costume, and in Dublin, visit the locations at designated times, following the footsteps of their fictional heroes. June 16, 1904 was also the day he met Nora Barnacle, who was to become his wife.
