Short summary
A precocious teenage bicycle thief straddles two worlds - that of her old fashioned grandma and that of her crooked boss. When these worlds collide, she must decide which path to take. Lolie, a precocious and rebellious Hispanic teen steals and sells bikes to help support her aging grandmother, Fredya. When Slick, the bike dealer she sells to, tries to pay her in meth, Lolie decides it's time to cut her ties. Slick, unwilling to let his best thief walk out, threatens Lolie with an ultimatum, keep stealing bikes or he'll kill her grandmother. With Lolie's back against the wall, she takes matters into her own hands to escape her boss.
