Sarah Jefferson (Ormston) is happily married to Andrew. They have two children: Katrina (11) and Michael (9). Sarah is being stalked - but does not know it. Her stalker Nigel (Savin) is a sinister and intelligent loner. He has a command of both forensics and electronics and a pathological need to control. Sarah works as a florist. Nigel buys flowers each day, only to destroy them, revealing his true psychopathy. Using his skills to execution his crimes, Nigel's control of everything extends far beyond Sarah to include her family and the police. Nigel plans and attention to detail leaves little doubt in people's minds that Sarah and Andrew's relationship was in trouble. So compelling is Nigel's manipulations that even Sarah and Andrew doubt each other and Andrew is pushed to the edge. This in turn leaves him vulnerable to exploitation.

I'm still in shock at what I just sat through.... I have no idea what the previous reviewers watched, but it couldn't have been this.

This film was dire in all departments - acting, production, story, script- you name it, this failed at it.

The story was ridiculous to the extreme, especially the way the husband just carries on with life (with his mistress). There was zero talent in the acting department and the extreme low budget meant that the whole thing looked and sounded like a straight to TV 1970s 'thriller'.

Honestly, this ranks up there with 'birdemic', please don't waste your valuable time with this, you will regret it. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I really do think the rest of the family members and friends of the cast that are obviously reviewing this film, should have bad things occur to them for their dishonesty. I'd like to say this is utter garbage but that really would be unfair on the garbage. In fact, given the choice between watching this or sitting down and staring at a pile of rubbish in silence for 80-odd minutes I'd take the latter without question. It should be made a crime for films like these to be created in the first place. Everybody involved should hang their heads in shame.

I look at reviews before I start watching any film, and just as the last reviewer commented, people must have been watching another film. This film was truly awful. The acting was quite possibly the worst I've seen. I could not hear half of what was being said. Unbelievable rubbish. Only watch this film if you want to replace the worst film you have ever watched. Nothing could beat this. In summary, nutcase kidnaps girl, not sure why, starts tatooing her body, again not sure why. The film appears to be padded out with unrelated asides. Girl escapes, and then is recaptured. The film does have an unexpected ending, I just wish it had come an hour sooner.

In this twisted thriller, we follow Sarah, happily married with two children. Everything changes when the psychopath Nigel abducts the loving wife, manipulating reality so brilliantly that the couple starts doubting each other. While the movie progresses twists and turns follow, leaving you at the edge of your seat. Everybody can rely to the wish of having a secure and loving family at home, which makes Flowerman so intense when we explore the creepiness and darkness of Sarah's and Nigel's relationship. Rob Burrows managed to create a dense plot. The actors pull it off just great. If you like thrillers and sinister antagonists, you should definitely give Flowerman a go.

This is a drama/thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat at times. It is the story of an idyllic family whose life we start getting used to at the start when wham, the twisted stalker, Nigel who oozes pure evil appears. The film is very creepy and twisted and the fact that hundreds of people actually do go missing every day brings this creepiness to life. Nigel's delicious dialogue is so beautifully delivered that I get the impression that this film will become a cult classic. The actor who plays Nigel, Jason Savin, gives a superb performance which makes me think of Anthony Hopkins in 'Silence of the Lambs' or even in Mr Hopkins more manic moments in 'Titus'. This is a B-Movie, so don't expect lots of explosions and car chases, just lots of terror. Don't watch it alone at night!

FLOWERMAN is a cheap indie thriller that hails from Britain. The story sees an ordinary family woman kidnapped and held captive by your usual garden variety psychopath. The story riffs on various genres and tries to play out as a character study, but it feels largely inert, spoiled by some very cheesy acting (from the bad guy in particular) and cliched scenarios.

"Flowerman" tells the story of a married mother of two who gets kidnapped by a creep that makes it look like she ran away and her way to overcome this situation.

The movie obviously has quite a low budget and unfortunately you really see this. The story is decent, nothing spectacular but enough to carry the film. At some points the amount of screen time the kidnapper got was almost a bit concerning but at the same time that gave you a very unpleasant feeling, which is probably the intention of the whole movie. Considering the fact that probably none of the actors have ever participated in large productions or played major roles, I was actually quite satisfied by the acting. What I found less satisfying were the last ten minutes of the film, where it somehow developed a bit over the top, with a killing spree and a second stalker. You could have well left that out and I think it had been more realistic.

All in all this is nothing you necessarily have to see but also nothing that you should avoid under all circumstances. If you like the story and aren't bothered by a low budget movie that looks like one, give it a try.

There are so many thrillers around nowadays but only few really can stand out. Flowerman is one of them. The start is very simple and peaceful as we see a happy middle-class British family and the mother of two sweet kids, Sarah, her daily routine and her work in the florists. But the moment we see one of her daily customers Nigel picking-up his flowers and seeing his eyes while saying "... you passed your test for the day, Sarah" the creepy feeling begins, and the story unfolds with lot of unexpected turns and twists. Without revealing the story any further I just want to add that the Flowerman surprised me a lot. It is really thought provoking, it has many layers and will stay in your mind for a long time.

I cannot rate this movie highly enough. It is one of those hidden gems that you come across on a dark night before bed. The relationship between the two main characters, Nigel and Sarah, is so dark, creepy and sinister that is seemed wrong to enjoy it. And the creepy character of Nigel Simmonds, he belongs up there alongside Hannibal Lecter and Norman Bates. And the actor who plays Nigel, Jason Savin, his performance is superb. Did he win any awards for this movie? Within the film is some delicious dialogue. It is so delightful. As soon as I had watched it I had to tell all my friends to watch it as well. We sometimes quote the dialogue to each other when we meet up. This movie is well written, well filmed and well acted - an absolute gem!

If you like movies with a solid plot and interesting characters that the filmmakers take time to develop, you should probably give this movie a watch. Unlike a lot of movies today, they take their time to form a plot and create real characters that you have feelings about and can relate to. This is lacking in so many movies made today that don't make an investment in their story and characters like this one does. There are also twists in the different perspectives they decide to explore. This isn't a one dimensional movie. What it is, is a really a fresh thriller. One that doesn't take the normal routes you've come to expect. Creepy and dark! This movie packs a good punch!

If you have seen the Lovely Bones this may remind you of it. It told the story of a spiritually pure and ideal family and their encounter with disturbing events that seemed to tear them apart. This was an unusual quality. It was simple but also sophisticated. It was certainly disturbing. It achieved this without horror – as in The Lovely Bones. It was because of this quality that the disturbing nature it makes and impression and the creepy quality of it was as good as any I have seen. One thing that it does is keep you guessing. The story is not predictable, far from it. It was well written, well directed and well acted and low budget. Don't let this fool you though. It does not have the cringe factor that can sometimes infect a low budget film. I think it is the sort of film that you will want to watch twice and be prepared to sleep with the light on!

This film is a very well constructed, psychological thriller with a perfectly disturbing villain and real characters who I cared very much about. It has just the right amount of uncertainty and mystery to keep me guessing as to what's going to happen next, and plenty of nail-biting suspense that kept me off kilter, thoroughly enjoying the ride the whole time. I normally don't even watch films this creepy at night because they keep me awake. This one fills the bill for late night creep factor, as it'll keep you sufficiently on edge. I'm a big fan of the thriller and psychological thriller genres, and Flowerman felt right on. If you want a good, creepy, suspenseful story, definitely check it out.

If you like horror films and like to be scared, you wont be disappointed. This has got to be one of the creepiest films I've seen in a long time, if not ever. The acting was solid, story compelling, the pace was just right and most of all, it was really entertaining. The idea of being stalked and not knowing who the stalker may be is a very scary concept. My girlfriend was on the edge of her seat the whole time. There are lots of twists and turns and I was not expecting that ending! I only wish we could have seen this in a movie theater, surrounded by other people, to hear the gasps and amplify the experience even more. We won't be sleeping any time soon. Anyone who likes this genre should put it on their must see lists of scary films.

This movie is set in the North of England. It tells us about a well balanced and loving family. They seem to have it all. Then they lost the mother who is taken. The man doing this was able to make it look like she had been having an affair. What fascinated me about it was that this was such a convincing tale told in such a way that there was no doubt as to the reality of the situation. He made it happen so easily that this should be as scary as hell, and it is for that reason. OK it is a well made movie and has tension and twists and all the things you may expect a successful movie to have. But the real scary bit is that this has happened and could happen again. There has been a high profile news story recently where the police gave up on the victim. The writers of this movie seemed to know a lot about the mindset of someone who could do such a thing. It shows how the man had power and that is what was so creepy and disturbing about it.

This film is not for the faint of heart. Steel yourself to proceed. In a format of horror, this film explores the inner compulsions which are so self-destructive as to seem to come from some source far beyond the immediate reality.

From some kind of psycho Hell comes a psychic psychopath. A loving family is sucked into spiritual Hell with a psychic psychopath with the transcendental powers of a witch to turn love into fear and hate. Evil loves company and draws more evil from the innocent. Psycho and victims are drawn together by inner Hell that seeks some apotheosis from whatever source.
