Short summary

It is New Year's Eve and is the last day of the '70s. Kitty is having second thoughts about selling the house and moving to Florida, even though Red thinks she is happy they are moving. Donna has just broken up with Randy and is moving to college. Jackie realizes she loves Fez. Bob decides that he's moving to Florida and open a bait shop. Eric says he's coming home from Africa.

Many of the tears are real. The whole cast was very emotional on the day of the shoot.

During Season 6, Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher wanted to leave the series, but decided to stay on for season 7, which was supposed to be the final season. But Fox decided to go on and make Season 8 without either cast member. The characters of Eric and Kelso were written out of the show. Fox brought in a new character named Randy to take their place. With two of the most popular characters gone, 'That 70s Show''s ratings heavily dropped and Fox was forced to end the show. But Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher still decided to return for the final episode of the series.
