Pine Hollow is having a rally. Whoever wins gets to be on the cover of "Thoroughly Horse Magazine". Stevie gets a pimple the day before the rally and is embarrassed by it. Stevie puts herself and Belle in danger when she rides without a helmet and gets a concussion after she falls when Belle is spooked by some birds. Meanwhile, Veronica is out of town and arranges for junior champion Chris Bloom to take her place on her team with Kristi and Danny.

In real life Stevie would have been kicked out of Pine Hollow for not only riding without a helmet, but for putting herself and Belle in danger. Stevie would have had to board Belle somewhere else.

Adam Oliver guest stars as Chris Bloom.

When Kristi told Stevie to get her pimple checked by a doctor she was trying to help Stevie in her own way.

A stunt double was used for the scene when Stevie rides without a helmet and falls off of Belle. It was too dangerous for Sophie Bennett to ride Dolly the horse who played Belle without a helmet.

Stevie and Phil could have used Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment Gel to get rid of their pimples. The size and redness of their pimples would have been reduced in as little as 4 hours. Their pimples would have been gone in time for the rally.

Bonnie Bryant the author of "The Saddle Club" guest stars as a judge. She previously guest starred as a cast member of "Lone Rider" in the Season 1 episode "Star Quality". She later had a walk on role during Season 3 of "The Saddle Club".
