Short summary
Clarice applies for a job as Claire's new assistant, but she'll only hire him as Clarence. Alan's new case is involved in a friendly wager with Shirley. Brad and Jeffrey are assigned to work on a case, together, involving a woman who wants to sue God, even though they can't stand one another, which makes Denise feels more like a referee, than an attorney.
Craig Bierko (Jeffrey Coho) & Constance Zimmer (Claire Simms) also worked together on UnREAL (2015) as Chet Wilton & Quinn King respectively.
The title refers to The Nutcracker which consists of a two-act ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky first performed in 1892. The original story came from "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by E. T. A. Hoffmann.
The twins, Katey and Lauren, parody the Prussian Blue, a white nationalist pop teen duo formed in early 2003 by Lynx Vaughan Gaede and Lamb Lennon Gaede.
