"BECOMING THE REAPER" is a dramatic horror movie, being produced by VernaJune Entertainment, that follows Damien as he learns that death is just the beginning. After a local street gang kills Damien he is sent to Purgatory for his final judgment, but St. Peter decrees that it's Damien's destiny to become the next Grim Reaper. Damien learns that there has been a Soul Collector for every generation and it has always been their duty to transport the fallen souls from Earth to Purgatory. Unable to cope with his own death and his new power and responsibility Damien decides that he is more suited to choose who lives and who dies. Damien starts with the best intention deciding that he will only claim the lives of those who deserve to die: the killers, rapists and gangs plaguing his city, but soon the thrill of killing overwhelms him and he begins to kill whoever he wants to. As Damien continues down this dark path, he begins to loose his own mortality and starts to affect the balance of life...
