Hissah Zul knows that Conan can only survive if he continues to get a lot of support from the people in the countryside. Evad (Joseph Rye), an alchemist in a purple robe, offers Hissah Zul his help. He can create a Doppelganger of Conan, sent him out to destroy villages and thus ruin Conan's reputation as a hero of the little people. Conan is quite surprised that farmers are throwing stones at him, next time he enters a village. Hissah Zul's plan seems to work perfect, but Conan quickly runs into his twin and kills him. Conan lets Otli tell the tale of the Doppelganger everywhere, because the word must spread that Conan is not guilty. Yet they find that too much damage is already done, and their real troubles just began, as Evad can easily create another Conan-copy to continue the evil deeds...

Unfortunately, almost every series from sci-fi to comedy has got one episode about a look-alike of the hero causing trouble and confusion, so there is nothing really new. However, Evad is a great villain, so proud of himself and his skills, his mad ambitions are believable.
