Clouin's films all seem to be weak on narrative but have interesting and sexy images.

In this instance we see an office worker and a window cleaner amid other images of sexy young men.

The sound track doesn't seem to be in any way related to the images and may well have been added later. It doesn't seem to add any coherence to what we are seeing.

I saw this at the 2004 London Lesbian and Gay Film festival which included a large selection of Derek Jarman films and it occurred to me how much better Jarman was at this. He also had very weak narrative lines in most of his films but the images (and what sounds there were) did seem to relate to each other in a way that built throughout the pieces and actually went someplace. This seemed to begin and end in pretty much the same spot.

Again, the images here are nice enough and the film maker has put together a pleasant enough film. It just seems that he needs a good script.
