'CLAUNCH, in the middle of nowhere' is a portrait of an abandoned but not forgotten New Mexico ghost town as it relates to one of its original settlers, 95 year old Berle Tally and his extended family. Berle and his youngest daughter Berlene are gifted storytellers who paint a colorful picture of the history of life in this quiet, dusty town. Quiet, that is until 150 of Claunch's former inhabitants return to celebrate Berle's 95th birthday, bringing the town momentarily back to life.
