This short film contains actual archival footage of the 1970's Women's Strike for Equality, which was the first and largest gathering of it's kind in the history of the United States, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage. The event took place on August 26, 1970, where over 50,000 women gathered in New York City in support of equal rights for women.
