All this mother wanted was a simple pirate party for her son. What she got were the worst group of foul-mouthed, offensive drunks a children's birthday party should ever have. Directed by Tim Suk and written by Matthew Clark, this 2010 Cheesesteak Grindstone comedic short will be one you'll never forget. Starring Tim Suk, Matthew Clark, Jennifer Varela, Josh Matthies, David Babbitt and more.

Filming took place in the fall of 2010 and lasted for a little over a month. Filming locations were in Tarzana, West Hollywood and Valley Village, California.

Matthew Clark said the hardest parts to film were the kids' scenes. "Keeping ten screaming kids organized and on set for eight hours was hell."

Originally, real parrots were going to be used for the children's birthday but the owner couldn't make it at the last minute.

Tim Suk is drinking real Sailor Jerry's rum during the filming. Tim Suk's character's name in "A Pirate's Life" is Sailor Jerry.
