Director André Marklund asked Jonas Larsson Grönström (who has acted in several films by Filmgymnasiet Gotland) to play the part of "Kim". He accepted, but Marklund replaced him later with Knut Ahnlund without his knowledge of it. Jonas Larsson Grönström was later given a minor part as a coffee-drinking extra though.

Jonas Larsson Grönström is a Salvationist (member of the Salvation Army) in Visby since 2010.

Jonas was asked by director André Marklund to find a "blond, well-built, middle-aged man" to play the part of "Chris' father". Jonas asked his friend Mikael "Micke" Mellin (who is 24 years older than Jonas and 26 years older than David Ekman who played "Chris") to play that part and Micke agreed.

Even Olof Björkqvist, who played the part of "Sara's brother", is a part of the communion of the Salvation Army in Visby (his parents are Salvationists) and familiar with both Jonas Larsson Grönström and Mikael Mellin.
