Stan walks through a park and bumps into a hanging rope. He looks up to see it secured to a crude tree fort above him. Seeing this as a place to get away from it all, Stan begins to climb the rope. As he nears the top of the tree, Stan grabs a limb which snaps, sending him sliding down the rope. He manages to regain his grip half way down, the sudden stop causing his shoes to fall off. Even as the shoes hit the ground, a nearby picnicker continues to make a sandwich, oblivious to Stan's predicament. After that, things don't go so well.
