Short summary
All and all, Sammy Davis Jr. played four instruments during his musical numbers for this film ( double bass, trumpet, and drums for his first instrumental number and electric guitar for his second performance ).
The title song played over the end credits concludes with Sammy singing: "Next time I'm gonna get the girl, that's definite," a Bond-like hint of a sequel, which did occur with Die Pechvögel (1970).
Cartoonist from Mad Magazine and of several TV Guide covers Jack Davis did the illustration for the poster which can also be seen in the closing credits during the theme song.
In one of the fight scenes Sammy Davis Jr. warned one of the guards that his hands are a "lethal weapon". Years later Richard Donner, the director of this movie, eventually directed a movie titled Lethal Weapon (1987) and it's sequels.
Instead of a card reading The End the film ends with "It's Over" displayed on-screen.
