Short summary
Aathi and Meera fall in love after the usual playful tiffs. On a visit to a friend's village for his marriage, the two of them help the friend marry his sweetheart instead of the bride. After many conflicts, Aathi and Meera are together.
This was the first film that had a successful combination, Silambarasan and Trisha starring together. They later acted together eventually for the critically acclaimed Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa that released in 2010, directed by Gautham Menon, which became a commercial success.They are also acting in an untitled thriller flick, directed by Selvaraghavan.
