"This is how you make a short film", well, according to one over-optimistic semi-professional crew it is. Bruce is a filmmaker who yearns for the big-time, however needs that one film that will get him there. This documentary follows his journey along with his crew to make that film, a Noire titled Blood Red. Once his thoughts and subsequently his actions are shown, the other members of the crew start to question their place in the production. What follows is a series of onset debacles, breakdowns, arguments, pranks, and a tug of war as each crew member fights control in the hierarchy of the film set. Caught up in their own individual stories, they forget the one story they were there to tell in the first place.
