This short is beautifully filmed, with subtle camera movement and surprisingly few shots. The set design and lighting together create a cozy and charming set -- impressive work for a college crew & budget! A carefully crafted and well written script, with thoughtful & brilliantly simple dialogue. Packed full of depth and emotion, with an intriguing tension explained only in the last moments of the film-- An ending which will make you want to go back to the start and watch the whole thing again (which is easily feasible considering the short length!) This writer/director has strong cinematic sensibilities and a unique, innate understanding of what it takes to make a film.
