The stories usually encompass Bridget's great, great, great grandparents of the civil war era. Bridget dismisses her repetitive, story-telling grandma as Bridget begins to fall asleep. Present day: At 20 years of age, Bridget enters into the vintage, family-home of the 1800's. Bridget discovers a mesmerizing, ancient gramophone in the home; she's curiously places the needle on the record and is instantly whisked into the past (in somewhat of a dreamlike state).
