This episode features Pinkie Pie playing a musical instrument from Yakyakistan that annoys the other characters. It seems like they get the conflict over pretty soon. They end up telling Pinkie Pie how annoying it is. Of course, the episode's nowhere near over so we get more stuff with Pinkie Pie being sad. I admit it's amusing to see her literally gray. Maud Pie had a great appearance too.

I was in fact interested how the episode would play out. The thing is that it just isn't a very relevant one. It's really nothing we haven't seen in the show before. It is always nice to go to Yakyakistan. Pinkie Pie is such a great character. They've just done much better. **1/2

You can tell where this story is going. Still as with all Pinkie Pie-centric episodes, she always have her fun moments.

Another episode that defies season 1. Pinkie Pie suddenly hates all of her friends and only cares about a dumb instrument. Anyone who has watched the pilot can explain what is wrong with this premise.
