In the scene I just saw, Max (Kat Dennings) said something about Sex and the City.

Ironically, Sex and the City was the show where the Philadelphia native made her acting debut.

In the episode "Hot Child in the City", she played Jenny Brier, a 13- year-old girl making publicity at her Bar Mitzi.

This episode of Sex and the City is a pun of the Nick Gilder song of the same name. And that's that!

And also, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs have always been there for each other, even though they're Pennsylvanians.

I really enjoy this episode. It's funny and it's different. We get to see more of Max's background.

In this episode, Caroline discovers that Max never graduated high school. Max only flunked out because she missed one exam. Caroline, determined to get her to finish, drags Max back to her hometown and convinces the school to let her take the exam. At first Max is upset, but then realizes what a nice thing that Caroline did for her. Caroline also tries to get Max to talk to her estranged Mother, but whether that actually works out or not, is another question.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.
