Short summary

At a Union-occupied plantation during the final days of the American Civil War, a lone patriot faces death for uncovering a conspiracy that will change the course of history.

"Blue Skies Under Grey" won the 2004 Nashville 48 Hour Film Project, receiving the honor of "Best Overall Film". Other awards and honors included: Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actor (J.D. Parker), Best Wardrobe, Best Sound Design, Best Musical Score, First Runner Up Best Screenplay, and First Runner Up Best Director.

This film was entirely created in less than 48 hours.

Premiered at the historic Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, TN.

Competed in the Nashville 48-Hour Film Project the same year as Shear Luck (2004), Overdue (2004), and Dip, Snip and Zip (2004).
