A girl develops a bond with a flying bed before discovering that it might have murdered her brother.

After Alice's older brother crashes to his death through his bedroom window at night in an apparent suicide, her family decides to uproot to a new town. As her depression worsens, Alice develops a gargantuan case of insomnia. Her dreams and reality begin to merge as the slumberless days pass by. One sleepless night, her brother's bed levitates into the air with her on it and soars out of her bedroom window through the sky. Alice travels night after night with the bed to exotic locations until her mind begins connecting specific locations with past memories. As she begins putting the pieces of the puzzle together, she realizes that there may be a horrible truth begging to be discovered that just might be more horrible than any of her nightmares.
