Short summary

A young man named Shane is fully convinced that the Bible is nothing more than an outdated history book, and has no relevance in the modern day. Shane's friends highly disagree with him, and argue that the Bible is a gift from God and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Shane however, continues to keep his viewpoint. But when Shane is forced to see what a world without the Bible would be like, he sees that the Bible might be more than an old religious book. Eventually, Shane learns that the Word of God is alive and active, and sharper than a double-edged sword. This thought-provoking short film will keep you guessing, and will have you answer a simple question "Is the Bible truly double edged?

Much of what Jay did on screen was improvised by Joseph Clark, making shooting slightly difficult due to the cast not being able to hold in the surprised laughter.

Chuck's punch to Shane's face was supposed to be a separate shot, but as the camera continued rolling, Grant just went for the punch, with Micaiah following through. After reviewing the footage, the cast decided that it looked so good, that the scene would consist of that shot only, and not of the punch from another angle.

Esther Clark was given the role of the girl with the Bible app last minute, as the previous two actresses said they couldn't make it on two separate shooting days.
