Short summary

The day before his outing with Hanna and Scratch, Alan begins to have dreams placing him in his last day on Earth making him ponder his fate and look back at what he's left behind. Also, Gary gets a cat.

During the dream sequences, the entrance wound in Alan's head disappears and reappears. The inconsistencies were actually added on purpose to add to the lucid state of the dreams.

Anna Brisbin was replaced due to the fact that since she had recorded her lines for the first episode, she had grown even more in popularity and became much busier. Tyler W. Moore assumed that she would be far to busy to do any additional work on the series on the schedule he was working with.

The address on Xia's tag is "10050 Cielo Drive, Los Angeles, CA". This is the house where one of the Manson family murders took place.

Malcolm Ray was at one point set to play the role of Sarcastic Guy. However, contractually complications prevented this from happening.

In the third dream scene, a line of people are walking in front of Alan. Among these people are characters made to look like Gohan and Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z (1996) and Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction (1994)

Wilhelm scream can be heard during the Satadyne commercial.

This episode was named after the Guns N' Roses double album "Use Your Illusion".
