Short summary

Daniel Santos, having now stepped out of the shadows as the leader of the Mutt uprising, requests a meet with the Pack to discuss a potential truce. The Pack sees this as a perfect opportunity to set a trap for their enemies and end the uprising once and for all. En route to the meet, Jeremy and Antonio are waylaid by an injured woman, and the two are quickly ambushed by Santos and Thomas LeBlanc. Antonio jumps to Jeremy's aid, battling the two Mutts - the attack leaves Jeremy injured and Antonio barely clinging to life. Clay arrives and rushes them back to Stonehaven, where Nick and Elena attempt to stop Antonio's bleeding.

Will Jeremy agree to talk truce with the Mutt uprising? Is the Pack walking into a trap? Decisions decisions and Elena is caught in the middle exactly where she does not want to be. I'm really feeling the characters now and the plot thickens with more questions than answers sometimes. Enjoy.

I saw the gap here when that Antonio guy got injured, and figured that this plot development might get rid of the excess baggage character who was way under-performing, embarrassingly so. Every time that bald dude appeared, it was like, "gee, must be a friend of the director just helping out for the afternoon", so, yeah, good thing they finally wrote him out of the story. Pete was more of a surprise when he was killed off, this guy had to go for the good of the fledgling series.

I just received my Third Season yesterday, so looking at this episode, especially the first half of it, not really much going for it, huh? - got kinda worried there for a while.

You will notice that already the nude scene is being "sourced out"... It's already not Laura Vandervoort and Greyston Holt doing the honors, and this is only the seventh outing. And, aw, come on, not THAT one, please...!

There also seems to be a moratorium on on-screen wolf transformations.

But some time after midway the episode does pick up and is at least back to a level putting it in line with those that have gone before.

I have one objection to the series concept. I'd have kept Elena, in her human form, still just with normal powers. Only in her wolf form should she have had superpowers. The fight scene with that Goliath juggernaut oaf is just, well, looks like a guy holding himself back. Come on, he looks four times her size. I'd have written it so that she, in her normal guise, would have to outwit him. But, OK, that's just a personal opinion.
