Short summary

A mock-infomercial that sells a product which supposedly brings about spiritual enlightenment in 30 days or less - guaranteed.
This film is a study of the complete insincerity that is blatant in lots of advertising. Having worked in commercial post-production for quite some time, i may be more sensitized to this stark difference between commercial hype and reality. So in order to maximize this disparity, i had Tristan Mckharmic make the most absurd claims by selling the one thing that may possibly be least likely achieved with insincerity: spiritual enlightenment (in 30 days - guaranteed). The format of the infomercial seemed best suited to portray commercial propaganda. Interesting to me was also the idea of having an actor act as someone who's acting. Tristan McKharmic, the show host (David McLean), keeps up his mask of caring, smooth and at times even evangelistic and salesmanship, yet we get a few hint of his his true personality.

The audience in the film is comprised solely of two people, David McLean (who also plays the show host Tristan McKarmic), as well as Director Niklaus Schlumpf. They dressed up as 15 distinct characters, and were later arranged in digital compositing to form an entire audience of about 100 people.
