I noted, looking the " XXI Century silents ", including the Oscar-winner " The Artist (2011), where always is used a kind of photography in the style of late '20s, that is, an elegant black and white. In my small tribute, inspired by the large number of short films made in the early years of the last century, I wanted to put photographically colors of the period, limited to 4 colors (yellow, orange, blue and light blue), thus recalling the first documentaries filmed by Lumière brothers operators all over the world. As a subject, I've choose the city of Venice because in addition to being in itself very photogenic, it is also one of those cities that preserves a charm and timeless beauty. - Valerio Greco
