Ted (David Niven) is in dire financial straits---so much so that he approaches his old college roommate, Walter, for help. However, Walter is a complete jerk and gloats over his acquaintance's problems and lords his wealth over him! Enraged, Ted punches Walter in the face (he surely had it coming) and he appears to have killed him. To compound the problem, Walter had been on the phone and the lady on the other end of the line heard what happened...and Ted desperately searches all over town for her (Beverly Garland). But what will he do when he finds her?!

This is a very interesting show--mostly because although Ted did a bad thing, the audience is hoping he'll get away with it! Very interesting overall and well done. And, if you want to see it, you can see or download it for free from archive.org--as well as the other episodes of "Four Star Playhouse".
