Abroad is a documentary that tells the stories of five Venezuelan migrants. Each one of them ventures to experience life in different countries around the world as they aspire for a better future. It is a story that not only resonates to Venezuelans or Hispanics, but all people who have taken a risk into the unknown to fulfill their dreams. During a year and a half they recorded their lives through small format cameras. This, along with a series of online video interviews, builds a collective portrait that explores distance, identity and the day to day life of living abroad.
