Short summary
When Taichi Hashimoto sees a girl standing on top of the school building, he fears that she may attempt suicide and races to save her. He finds a free-spirited and lively girl, Mioka, and is instantly drawn to her. What he doesn't know is that she is dying from an incurable and degenerative brain disease.
