Good Grief was filmed on two 1000ft rolls of Kodak 35mm film stock that were generously given to the director for free.

The script was inspired by the oddities and people at the funeral of the writer/director's grandmother, to whom the film is also dedicated as 'Oma' (Dutch for Grandma).
