The Elementors believe they no longer need Dredd, having stolen his blueprints to tap into TURBO energy with UltraLink technology. Max, feeling guilty for repeatedly standing up girlfriend Syndey every week, decides to tell her his superhero identity. Steel reluctantly ends up allowing Max to demonstrate their TURBO power. Elementors attack, determined to make Max Steel one of them. With Max captured but Ultimate Elementor divisive over their plan's failure, Sydney heads a rescue, which puts them all in extreme danger and all up for surprises.

Max finally explains some of his questionable past transformations, in that Steel, given time, can separate from Max while leaving him locked into one of his TURBO Modes.

Poorest of episode titles in the series. At no point does the truth hurt. At worst, the act of TRYING to tell the truth is uncomfortable and awkward.

The character Sydney losses her short-term memory, but that's before Jefferson addresses Max and Steel separately, which would allow Sydney to perceive Max Steel as a combined entity - a fact no civilian knows - and perhaps identify him on her own later on.
