PC John May of the Merseyside Armed Response Police is sent on a case to track down Ben Jones, a man who they suspect has been involved in violent assaults across Liverpool. However John finds out that the suspect has committed a far worse crime, murder. It is now his job to take him down.

The Liverpool Riots of 2011 took place exactly 1 week before filming began in Liverpool City Centre.

Filming began on the 15th August 2011 in Liverpool City Centre for 3 days. The film was then put on hold for a year before final shots were completed on the 6th September 2012.

The journey shot on the underground Merseyrail train was filmed on the train from Hamilton Square Station in Birkenhead to James Street Station in Liverpool.

As the Mersey ferry approaches the ferry terminal, it is in-fact pulling up at the Birkenhead terminal, but in the film is portrayed to be pulling up at the Liverpool terminal. This is because the Liverpool terminal was closed during the time of filming due to a large ocean liner docking in Liverpool docks.

The scene at the end of the film outside the Echo Arena was very hard to shoot, even though the scene was filmed at 09:50 in the morning, there were a lot of tourists around at the time making it relatively difficult.

The scene shot in front of the West Tower skyscraper in Liverpool's commercial district was thought up on the spot as a more interesting introduction to the film.

The entire film concept was changed in 2012, however original clips shot in 2011 were kept (even though there was a mass of continuity errors), these clips include the underground railway scene and the Mersey ferry scene.
