Upset that Batman and his sidekick, Batgirl, are constantly ruining his plans the Joker decides that he needs a partner of his own. He soon discovers the right candidate in Donnie, a misguided prankster who attends the same high school with Barbara Gordon. When she realizes that the Joker's new sidekick, Prank, is actually Donnie she and the Batman find themselves trying to convince him that Joker is not a good role model to have.

When going over possible schemes, Joker remarks that one plan is "Too Riddler". This same line was used by Joker in the episode of "The New Batman Adventures" titled "Mad Love".

The idea of Joker wanting a "Joker Junior" is likely a reference to the movie "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". In "Return of the Joker", Joker and Harley Quinn brainwash Tim Drake into being their "child" whom they call "Joker Junior".
