I have watched all the episodes of Duncan Street Chronicles before this so maybe I am a little jaded. First off, the story takes a natural progression from the series and it actually makes you "want" the "gang" to succeed. However, something just does not feel right with this. Matt Veltri was the directer on this and i believe he did a fantastic job BUT something gets lost in translation... maybe its the steady shots and multiple angles... or maybe its the High Definition quality. I personally prefer Duncan Street to look like what its meant to look like, a cheap "documentary." Trailer Park Boys failed in a similar way in their last couple of seasons. They tried to be too cinematic in my opinion. Still a good flick. Still a fan... just want them to return to their roots and I also want a season 2!!!!!
