In this episode, Margie's bank has cut off her account because she was owed $1.08! This leads to a flashback to how Vern, her father, met her mother Cathy and grandmother, also named Margie. Both are played by Margie herself, Gale Storm. This being the second episode I've seen, compared to the first one I saw, Kangaroo Story, I thought this one was very contrived and therefore, not very funny. In fact, I hardly laughed till the end, when a trick between Cathy, Vern, Vern's boss, and grandmother Margie gets mixed up with predictable, but amusing results! Some of the timing seemed a little off too. If you like old-time '50s TV, seek this out. Otherwise, skip it.
