Two different groups of kids in both the seventies and the present experience the same circumstances: they spend the night at school and confront the demon that resides there.

This film was shot as part of a film studies after school program at St. Raphael School.

Producer/Writer David Smith and his son, Cameron Smith, went into school late at night one night to shoot the demon footage with a black sheet and a bull skull as well as the baby footage with a doll from Goodwill.

A bulk of the footage was shot in one day.

The vodka bottle that a student drinks was just water.

The students had full access to the school at night and many were actually scared of the experience with the dark hallways.

It was Hershey Syrup poured onto Emma's face in the Library scene.

The image of Emma's Scream has been the logo for "Smith Productions" ever since.

Quinn is reading Edgar Allan Poe's "The Conqueror Worm" in the library scene. The director would often read Poe to the students of St. Raphael at Halloween time.

Matthew Schneider worked the camera all day from early morning until late at night on the day of the shoot. By the end, he was sitting on the floor, exhausted, holding the camera and shooting the scenes.
