Imperious Baron von Albrect (Novello) hires Paladin to search out killer Frome (Corry), but Paladin gets no help from townspeople, including berserk kid (Kuenstle) and his hotel-keeper mom (Inness). Meanwhile arrogant baron is offending the very people Paladin needs help from.

The snooty baron is a real acting departure for the usually meek and mild Novello. And see if you agree: Corry the gunman appears something of a James Dean look- alike. In my book, the demented kid is the entry's most interesting feature. You don't know what he'll do next. But, I really didn't like the opening hotel scene where Paladin the lady-killer is spread on much too thick. Plus the two comely ladies don't even get a cast mention. Note too how they rather awkwardly remain silent the whole time, meaning they get paid less for non-speaking roles. In fact, the whole episode looks more cheaply produced than usual.
