Short summary

This film is spectacularly beautiful, a surrealistic interplay between post-card charm and dark menace. It is a personal, original view - sometimes tragic, sometimes ironic - of the jumpers and would -be jumpers, their families and other people whose lives are affected by their actions. As with any human story, there are many moments of black comedy in this glimpse of the dark side of the American dream.

This movie failed everywhere "The Bridge" succeeded. Music score sucked. And the tongue and cheek approach to dealing with suicide from the most popular destination for self-inflicted death was void of compassion and sensitivity.

Simply put, don't waste your time. Watch The Bridge with a critical eye and make the decision for yourself about the joylessness of life and those suffering deeply from that.
