Short summary

When Harry Kay awoke in darkness, his first instinct was to call his wife, Detective Joy Kay. When it's established that he has been kidnapped, the taker cuts into the line, starting Joy on a mad night stalk to save her husband before he runs out of air. Only time will tell if the dawn breaks clear.

Was originally a stand alone short film called 'Veracity', but the opportunity was seen to incorporate it into Clockwork (2007) to create an even larger story. The other two pieces are called Complex (2006) and Clarity (2007).

Joy Kay went through two other actresses before Michelle Laven came along.

Gage was originally a different named character, and was the culprit, ultimately.

When filming her rehab scene, Laven was alone, with the voice of Robin edited in later.

In order to effectively portray a coffin, Jon (playing Harry) was placed into a four piece box, which was free standing. The only light used in the scenes is from his working phone.

A scene involving the beach at dawn was filmed at dawn on a populated beach. Filmmakers had to very carefully shoot in order to make it look as though no surfers had existed.
