» » Даллас A House Divided (1978–1991)

Short summary

J.R.'s friends, family, and business associates vow revenge on him; Bobby and Pam leave Southfork.

The title comes from the gospel of Mark and was used by Abraham Lincoln describing a country that is half free and half slave. "A house divided against itself cannot stand."

When the series was shown in the UK, the teasers were normally removed and instead would start with the opening titles. This episode was the exception - the dramatic teaser which gave a good build up of things coming to a head for J.R. was probably left in for climatic purposes.
