Jenna, an aspiring dancer from a small town, is dating Levi, an artist who lives in the same apartment building. Everything is going well until a chance encounter in her building's elevator leads Jenna to believe that Levi is also dating Lauren, a typical LA blonde bimbo. As Jenna broods, Levi, confused about how to handle relationships with two women, asks his best friend, Adam, for advice. Adam urges Levi to ditch Jenna, and choose Lauren. Later that evening, over dinner, Levi tries to explain his side of the story to Jenna, who's having none of it. Leaving Levi with the ultimatum - "make a choice" - Jenna moves on. Adam, seeing his plan unfold perfectly, makes his move and becomes the loyal partner Jenna had been searching for all along.
