This movie has an extremely powerful message to communicate. The message, as I perceived it, is that the so-called treatments being pushed by psychiatrists and even medical doctors for mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, etc. are arguably even more dangerous and debilitating to the person than no treatment. The cast did an amazing job and I felt a close connection emotionally with the main character, who was going through hell without her "medication." I left the screening thinking how vital it is that we come up with more effective treatments for people in trouble, mentally. This is something that effects all of us in this society. Well done to all who were involved in this project!
