That the Lone Ranger and Tonto succeed in solving crimes and bringing justice may seem contrived, but it isn't. They are the epitome of justice and their presence makes one believe that there is still hope for humanity. Now, that may seem far-fetched but it isn't. Remember: that someone actually wrote scripts with this theme means that the idea is alive and not just wishful thinking.
