Short summary

Things are looking up for Justin Tanner (Ken Gayton). He has a great job as a therapist and he's about to marry the love of his life. That is until the love of her life shows up unexpectedly at the wedding after being a P.O.W. for over a year. As she rushes into the arms of man she thought she lost, Justin is devastated. After a couple weeks of getting therapy from his 8 year old patient, Justin is forced to take some time off. His best friend Stevenson (Jason Schaver) takes him out to a local bar to cheer him up by getting him laid. This is where he learns about Justin's gift, which is really just his psychology education, but to Stevenson it's the most amazing ability known to man. After weeks of going out night after night and getting laid, Justin is exhausted and has to go back to work. He jokingly tells Stevenson if he wants to continue to go out all the time he needs to find a way to get paid for it. Taking it literally, Stevenson, who is a self proclaimed "Social Media Expert",...

Ken Gayton, who plays "Justin" (a psychologist), actually has a psychology degree from the University of Colorado.

The beginning of the screenplay was actually written as a beginning to another screenplay that Jason Schaver was writing while Ken Gayton was starting to write Wingmen Incorporated. Ken couldn't really think of a decent set up for Wingmen Incorporated and really felt like Jason's beginning to his other screenplay would work great in Wingmen Incorporated. Jason wasn't sold at first, but eventually warmed up to the idea of using his beginning for Wingmen Incorporated.

The middle and last name of the main character (Justin Daniel Tanner) is named after Bob Saget's character on the popular late 80s/early 90s sitcom Full House.

The bulk of the funds for this film came from fans of Jason and Ken through an online fundraiser. They received donations from as far away as England and Germany.

Jason Schaver's mother (Deb Schaver) provided all the decorations for the wedding scenes. She has been in the floral industry for over 30 years and owns her own store in Fulton, IL.

Jason Schaver (Stevenson) lost 35 pounds getting ready for this role. He weighed 240 in December of 2011 and weighed 205 seven months later when filming started (June 2012).

Josh Razavi (Big Rig), was so impressive during his audition that Jason & Ken actually gave the character of Big Rig more lines, nearly doubling his number of speaking occurrences. Due to Josh's height of 6'7", Big Rig was the only character he could have played.

Walt Sloan's character (Dr. Barkins) was loosely based on Alan Arkin's character in Grosse Pointe Blank because Jason Schaver is such a big fan of that film. Walt is the only person other than Jason and Ken to appear in all three of their feature films.

Auditions were held in Waukegan, IL, which is about 45 minutes North of Chicago. Ken and Jason like to have auditions about that far away from Chicago because it shows who has their own transportation, but more importantly, it shows who is serious about the project.

Ken's brother came up with the title while pitching a different movie to him.

Kim DeJesus, who plays Abby in the film, is the wife of Major League Baseball player David DeJesus. Ken & Jason didn't find out who she was until after she had already gotten the part. They found out when they were scheduling her scenes and she mentioned she traveled a lot because of her husband's job which at the time was right fielder for the Chicago Cubs.

Jason met Andrew Smith (DP), Eddie Avinashi (gaffer), and Stephen Holliger (sound guy), back in December of 2011 when he was shooting his sketch comedy webseries 10 Minute Abs. The show was put on hiatus during the production of Wingmen Incorporated.

Former NBA player Scott Pollard expressed interest in auditioning for the role of "Big Rig". Due to a scheduling conflict he could not attend the audition.

Jeff Gamblin (Fred) was once in an 80's cover band (called The Martha Quinn Experience) with Holland Zander, the daughter of Robin Zander, lead singer of Cheap Trick.

Jeff Gamblin (Fred) used to own a record store called 15 Minutes Compact Discs, that Bun E. Carlos, drummer for Cheap Trick called one of his favorite places in his hometown of Rockford, IL, in an interview in CMJ magazine.

Jason Schaver wears a "Paddy's Pub" (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) shirt in the film. After buying the shirt at a local department store Jason decided to contact Ripple Junction (the company that licensed the T-shirt) and asked them if he could wear the shirt in the movie. After getting the okay from FX, Ripple Junction gave Jason permission to wear the shirt in the film.

Justin's home in the film is owned by a friend of Ken Gayton's.

The producers paid $600 to use a bar in the film. They shot three long scenes and had the bar from 10am-midnight.

The footie pajamas that Jason Schaver wears in the film were bought on a whim just a few days before shooting the scene that he wears them in. The script called for tighty-whiteys, black socks, and a stocking cap, but Jason thought it would be funnier to have footie pajamas.

Believe it or not, the hardest role to fill on this film was Sound Guy. No one could commit to the entire project so there was pretty much a revolving door when it came to sound guys.

In the script "Conner" was supposed to be the Best Man at "Justin's" wedding, but Kevin Miller could not attend the shoot that day because of a prior commitment.

During the scene where Justin & Stevenson are doing shots with Lucy & Tina, Jason Schaver (Stevenson) drank his shots during rehearsal. While it didn't affect him during that scene, he got sick later on that night while filming other scenes.

About 40 extras showed up for the wedding scene at the beginning of the movie.

While this is Jason's and Ken's biggest film (in terms of the amount of people involved) it was their lowest budgeted film.

The film was shot every other weekend from the beginning of June (2012) up through the middle of October (2012).

Stevenson's first name is Wayne. It's only said once in the film, while Stevenson is on the toilet and his mom is talking to him through the door.
