Dick's father visits the inn but does not want to do anything.

An amusing low key episode, which makes sense since Dick's father is played by legendary low key comedian Bob Elliott. Elliott was a great choice as Newhart's father since their humor was similar, though Elliott was only 6 years older. The funniest scene is when Dick's father, a former barber, gives Darryl #2 a haircut.
