Short summary
The Empire is developing a weapon to eradicate the survivors of the Jedi Purge. It is being held in a remote base on the planet Jorjen V, awaiting transfer to Darth Vader's flagship Executor. When the mysterious Kudrae learns of its location, she hires bounty hunter Sard Murso to help her infiltrate the base, which is under heavy Imperial guard. The mission is more dangerous than Sard had anticipated, pitting him against both the Empire and the lethal effects of the weapon itself.
