Short summary

In the Season 2 premiere, Trace to make a fresh start in a small beachside town, where they meet Nikki and Tommy, the engaged couple running Emmy Lou's Grill and vacation home Barefeet Retreat, and Bodhi, the local handyman. Vivian starts working at Emmy Lou's and Eddie quickly befriends Bodhi. Tara and Derek rent Barefeet Retreat in an attempt to improve their marriage, which has been complicated by Derek's addiction to VR.

Nice to see this series return. Well done, refreshing and very original.

The second season begins in a whole new town with only two carry-over characters, the rest of the cast from the first season is gone. The quaint little cabin in the woods is now a house near the beach with a whole new guest book.

Fo me, the show has lost its charm. I gave it a chance. I really wanted to like it, but the change in locale and the loss of almost the entire cast has ruined it for me.

Sadly, I'll no longer be checking The Guest Book.
